. Joe Biden, the foreign policy expert, made an error in the Democratic Debate tonight. I caught the error right away. Biden mentioned Putin dealing with the Republic of Georgia and Shalikashvili. Wrong! Shalikashvili served as joint chief of staff while Bill Clinton served as President of the US. Shevardnadze once served as a foreign minister of the Soviet Union as I recall and now serves as President of the Republic of Georgia.
