I didn't get so much as an email as to why I got banned from DU so I cannot tell you.

Anyway if you can tell more progressives at DU to join here, in private messages, please do.

It has always amazed me that DU can ban so many people without cause, and yet the ongoing purges are under the radar for the most part. For those who remember DU 4 or more years ago, it is a shadow of its former self. Hundreds of the best people have been summarily banished to the wilderness. The currenttmembership still believes that people are only banned for good reason. Amazingly successful disinformation campaign at work there.

My guess is because you were posting about this website.
They tend to frown on open recruitment, as do a lot of boards.

Or perhaps frowning on recruiting for other boards is a pretext for censoring ideas and controlling the discussion?
