In the 5 years since George W Bush initiated the Iraq invasion, the protests, the rallies, and the petitions have failed to stop the invasion nor has it forced a withdrawal of troops.

George W Bush and his Republican party appears insulated and unresponsive to the public.

I have found a friend of the Republican party that does not appear insulated and unresponsive to the public. General Electric Corporation, according to opensecrets.org has given money to both parties but much more to the Republican party. See table below.

General Electric Corporation. 2006

Total Receipts $2,110,636

Total Spent  (view expenditures) $2,396,709

Begin Cash on Hand $597,886

End Cash on Hand $311,811

Debts $0

Date of last report December 31, 2006

Contributions from this PAC to federal candidates (list recipients)
(37% to Democrats, 63% to Republicans) $1,281,400

General Electric Corproation. 2004

Total Receipts $2,042,112

Total Spent  (view expenditures) $1,897,461

Begin Cash on Hand $453,235

End Cash on Hand $597,886

Debts $0

Date of last report December 31, 2004

Contributions from this PAC to federal candidates (list recipients)
(36% to Democrats, 64% to Republicans) $1,022,926

General Electric Corporation. 2002

Total Receipts $1,774,414

Total Spent  (view expenditures) $1,680,649

Begin Cash on Hand $359,469

End Cash on Hand $453,235

Debts $0

Date of last report December 31, 2002

Contributions from this PAC to federal candidates (list recipients)
(41% to Democrats, 59% to Republicans) $880,594

As you see General Electric Corporation has favored the Republicans in their donations to candidates and political party.

Since General Electric makes products for war and for consumers and profits on the war, I strongly suggest you and everyone you can get, to call General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211 and ask to speak to the person in Public relations.

Then tell the person in public relations that you want the General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt to speak to George W Bush and convince Bush to end this invasion and war, and then have Bush promptly resign with Richard Cheney

AND UNTIL THIS happens you will no longer buy any General Electric Consumer items with a GE logo, which includes TVs, radios, DVD players, stereo equipment, refrigerators, ovens, stoves, dishwashers and more.

I believe with a withering telephone campaign conducted by the citizens who have had enough of George W Bush and his war, calls one of Bush's friends we can force an end to this invasion and war and get the War criminal administration to resign in shame. GE cannot afford to lose half this country's citizen's business, and GE does not appear insulated from the public.

So, people, begin and make those telephone calls. Now, for this country, for the soldiers, for the million innocent Iraqi people killed by George W Bush and the Republican party's invasion of death.
