and prevent the House of Representatives from passing the SCHIP bill with a vote of 273-156 which does not pass with a 2/3 vote needed to override a presidential veto.

That bill is totally unfair in the method

of funding and needs to be rewritten to so

that funding is shared by ALL Americans!

Do you actually think the Dems didn't know that going in?

THEY KNEW IT WOULD NOT PASS!!!!!!!!

They're just trying to make MORE political points leading
up to the elections and get all the voters pised off at the
RETHUGS and show them up as not supporting Family Values!!

The Tabacco Lobby OWNS CONGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They attached the minimun wage increase to a fucking Iraq War
spending bill, knowing full well, that THAT woudldn't pass
either!!!!

They're playing.....

SCHIP will expire and until the parties agree on some type of extension, you don't have SCHIP.
