. Today, Joe Torre got a 3 year contract to manage the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League. I wish Joe well. I had hoped that the Yankees would have made him a 3 year offer so he could stay with the Yankees. Joe helped the Yankees go to the playoffs for each of the 12 years that he managed the Yankees and helped the Yankees win 4 world series championships, which appears a major achievement that will make him eligible for the Baseball Hall of Fame many years from now. Thank you Joe, for your strong work here in New York and I wish you well in Los Angeles. | |||||||
